Made in comparatively small size, this container is generally used for express and parcel post shipment. It is also used as an inner container.

It provides at least one thickness of corrugated board on all six surfaces of the container, and a double thickness on several panels. It is easily opened or closed, and provides the protection needed for shipment of pharmaceutical products, books, etc.

For truck and parcel post shipment, any type of adequate closure is permissible.
